Metro

• Number of lines: 3 – marked with letters A (green color), B (yellow color), C (red color)
• Operation hours: daily from 5 a.m. to midnight
• Time intervals: 2 – 3 minutes in the rush hours
• Length of the system: 55 km
• Number of stations: 54 (including three transfer stations)

Tram routes

• Daylight operating hours: from 4:30 a.m. to midnight
• Time interval for daylight hours:
• The majority of tram lines run with an average interval of 8 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon on working days, 10 minutes before noon, and 7.5 – 15 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays
• Night hours: from 0:30 to 4:30 a.m.
• Time interval for night hours: 30 minutes
• Night lines: numbers 51 to 59
• The central tram stop for tram transfers during night hours is the stop LAZARSKÁ

Buses

• Daylight operation hours: from 4:30 a.m. to midnight
• Time interval for daylight hours: The majority of bus lines run with an average interval of 6 – 8 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon on working days, 10 – 20 minutes before noon, and 15 – 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays
• Night hours: from 0:30 to 4:30 a.m.
• Time interval for night hours: 30 minutes
• Night lines: 502 – 514, 601, 602, 603

Fares in Prague

The tariffs for the Prague city area are divided into Zones P and 0 (in total, there are 4 tariff zones for the Prague area). Zone P has a doubled tariff value and Zone 0 is divided into Zones 0 and B – the border stops zone.

Zone P includes the metro, trams, Prague public transport buses (lines No‘s 100 – 299 and 501 – 599), the Petřín funicular, ferries and selected Czech Railway (ČD) line segments.

Zone 0 (the “terminal zone”) includes buses from the periphery areas (lines No‘s 300 – 399 and 601 – 620) running through the Prague area, and selected ČD railway line segments.
